I am an immigrant how can I find money for school?

I was enticed by a school in America that wanted me to come. I have paid for two semesters working two jobs but due to to the recession was let go from one. I do have an alien immigration number but no social security. I want to make money or get a loan of some sort to pay for school is this possible. I am an African student on a legal F-2 Visa I have a girlfriend but do not want to trouble her or anyone I don't have to for the money. I was looking into scholarships but can't seem to find any where is this money that they say immigrant students are taking? Help Please?
