I understand John Mccain was against Cities putting in a Tower so everyone can have BROADBAND is that true??

I was reading that some TEXAS town I believe ARLINGTON had built a tower to transmit a WIRELESS BROADBAND SIGNAL to all the residents AND John McCain was on the side of the Cable & Phone Cos. trying to STOP THIS FROM SPREADING ALL OVER THE COUNTRY.
