Can we all please agree that Jesus was executed because of treason, not for being magical?

Seriously I always hear that Jesus was killed because he was the son of god. He was killed because he said this in front of a bunch of religious folk and that is treason in that society. He was not killed because he was magical or because of his magical connections to god. So please end this stupid rumor
