For Christians: Why would God wanted people to kill innocent children?

The Bible – the Old Testament specifically – is full of such examples of unbelievable cruelty and unmotivated sadism. So is your question really – Why do people still believe in that ****? May I ask you: Have you seen a lot of Christians who would actually read and know the Bible, which is supposed to be the essence of their religion?? Ignorance is the problem. However, I have met some educated Christians. Are they just plain stupid, despite their education? Well, to be honest, I have no answer on this my friend.
