Should I take antidepressants?

I am severely unhappy with how I look and it gets in the way everyday. I am obsessive and i compare pictures of me now to pictures of me like a few months a go and think i'm ageing and go berserk! im only 19! I wonder if its just in my head or if im really seeing these things. All i can think about is getting plastic surgery. Sometimes i get so overwhelmed with this that i cry and cry and freak out and think and think. I have severe social anxiety too and im sad most of the time. im really lethargic and i can't make friends because of these insecurities and self esteem. Are anti-depressants for me, or is this something else? Please help me some one. No one answered last time and i really need the help. Im too embarred to tell the doctors this problem as far as their concerned im just depressed and anxious. Im also very hostile towards people and often envision myself throwing acid or boiling water in their face or deficating on them. This is serious, its not a joke, its because im so hostile and angry all the time. What do you think this is?

Cloth inserts with disposable?

We use the up & up disposable diapers, and most of the time they are great. They only problem is that he leaks through overnight, so I was wondering if anyone has used cloth diaper inserts inside a disposable. I know it sounds kind of strange, but we are trying to do something more economical than buying a more expensive diaper. Why dont I have any pressure behind my brake pedal?

I replaced my front brake pads and rotors on my 1999 Saturn Coupe. I bled the brakes several times until there was not a single air bubble coming out. The brake pedal will be extremely hard after bleeding them but only when the engine is off. When I start the engine the brake pedal goes to the floor and there is no pressure behind the pedal at all. I took it driving and tested the brakes and there is a fairly large amount of lag behind the brake pedal, in other words I have to hold the brakes for a while for the vehicle to come to a complete stop. There is no visible leaks from any part of the brake caliper. Does anyone know whats going on?

Modern Warfare 2 vs Uncharted 2?

Answer is easy... Uncharted 2 (not saying its a better game than MW2) but because it had so many things to improve upon from the first and it did, the result being one of the most awesome experiences in the new generation; On the other hand MW2 is also a great game, but it didn't have much to change from the first (the first set the bar sooo high) plus the single player campaing could have been a bit longer (I swear there was one sub-act that lasted only 5 mins). Have you sat on both bikes? Number of cylinders, fuel injection/carbs, ABS/no ABS, top speed, etc. don't mean as much as comfort when it comes to a bike you're going to ride on the street. Sadly that's very true. The world we live in today is rough. You may not hear about teens wanting to or planning to or even attempting to because it's a kind of thing people don't ever reveal and most likely the person who has wouldn't show it/act like it. If you ever go through depression/anxiety or have suicidal thoughts and you get help the doctors or therapists will say the same thing about how common this is among teens and how many people they know with it. If you even go as far as being put in a hospital you would see even more of the numbers of adolescents with depression or that are suicidal. Some cases aren't as serious but there all just as painful. I'm not sure on the statistics of adults but it's very very very common with teens :(

Hay! I would suggest renting the movie and seeing how she does the monologue. (but watch the whole movie so you get the whole context) Also maybe look it up on You Tube or something to see how others have done it. Dont take and do it the same way but put yourself in her shoes and think about how you would feel and then it should come naturally. I'm sure you probably already are, but if not, take Ibuprofen - it has stuff in it that will reduce the swelling. Also, keep icing it, and wear the brace just until it gets healed. (If you keep wearing the brace when your ankle is healthy, you will make your ankle weak.) Avoid activites that cause pain or limping in your ankle. Use crutches until you can do those activities without it hurting. When you're just relaxing and sitting down, elevate your foot above heart level. Just put it up on the couch arm or another chair or something like that. Also, if you think your doctor is misguiding you, go to some other doctor to get a second opinion. Good luck and get well! :)

Can you get wood lighter?

Having fitted bathroom with warm oak units. My present window facing/sill are well done and I am reluctant to change. The wood is mahogony, satin varnished. I'm useless in the decorating field and wonder if there is a product you can by that stains lighter to match more with the units and not ruin the wood? Hi Sweety!! I have broken many bones but it was when I was younger! I healed pretty quick despite having Diabetes! I think it normally takes about 1 1/2 to 2 months for a break to heal. It also depends on how bad the break is! My daughter broke her collar bone when she ran into the side of a moving vehicle a few years ago & it healed in 2 months. But I'm sure your Dad being as stubborn as he is won't be able to relax long enough to let the healing process take place! It's not easy being a parent sometimes & you just gotta let him do his own thing I guess! You'll know when he needs help with something!! Take care!!

(Not all women get the gush at first, my water had a "tear" and only "trickled" for about 8 hours before it "broke".) I would suggest skipping the bath to help induce contractions to higher speeds, until you see your dr, or they check you out. Warm showers can help bring on contractions faster, as can walking around. This is a good chance to help with breathing techniques, and finding comfortable positions to be in to help cope with harder labour. Best of luck to you...I don't think it will take too long.

I exercise like crazy and dont eat very much but yet i can only maintain my weight. i use to bike 20 miles every day and still would not lose weight, ive tried calorie counting and such, but it always seems ineffective, i dont look for the quick and easy answer either, i know that losing is hard work. what is the barebones thing that I need to do? is it diet? i hear some people say its 90 percent diet and 10 percent exercise. help! also eating 5 meals throughout the day is almost impossible for me, i work very late at a restraunt (and dont eat the food there) i get home at about 1 am and have to wake up at 7 the next day to go to school, its extremely hard to fit in 5 meals throughout such a busy day. any advice will be appreciated and considered :) thank you!

Elevated white cells and platelets for 5+ years....?

I have had elevated white cells and platelets for at least 5 years which doctors say is some type of pre leukaemic condition. Since diagnosed, doctors just keep doing regular blood tests (to make sure it doesn't turn into leukaemia), which have all been elevated but stable. My problem is that I can't find any info on treatments to lower the levels, and doctors just keep saying they'll keep an eye on it. Ok heres my story. Just about three days ago, my husband and I had our 18th wedding anniversary. We always usually go out and eat just the two of us while the kids stay with grandparents. Ok so i was getting ready to go out and was taking a shower, when he burst into the bathroom and told me something was wrong with his mother, I said oh my no , something serious? I said tell her i hope she will be ok. told him to go and see what the problem was. Ok so i continue to take the shower and then i got out and immediately got my robe on off course and went to the phone and called his cell phone number. When he picked up i could hear that they or he was at a resturant and i knew this because i overheard some woman asking his father what he wanted to drink, i said Um Where are you? he said oh , well um mother is ok just a false alarm and so i thought it would be nice to take her out to eat something. I thought well i guess that is nice but it is our anniversary night and we do not have enough money to eat out two times in one night , so i asked him , ok should i just call my parents and tell them that we are postponing our dinner tonight? and then he realized oh my god ! tonight is our anniversary. I said yes it is . So he hung up on me , well time went on and i am a diabetic so i have to eat by a certain time of night or my blood sugar will go low and besides that the kids were getting hungry by then also. I called and cancelled things with my parents so they could go ahead and eat also. He did not come home until three hours later and i was almost ped out , i did not eat much because i thought we were still going out , he never made that clear , i also thought that by that time and since they were eating out that he would at least think of me and order me something to eat, he did not. So anyway, i almost went into a diabetic coma by that time i was late for my insulin shot and needed to eat something fast, so i went and got some orange juice to get my blood sugar up , me not him now and then i had to eat a cold sandwich and drank water , there was nothing else there to eat . I gave my children pizza , i can not eat that at all. I was so sick and just wanted to go to bed and all he could say was , man that fried catfish we had was so delicious , you would have really liked it . Now what would you have done ? What would you have said? I mean , scare me like that , his mother is a diabetic also but guess what she came first and he was very aware of her needs and forgot mine ? I felt like screaming and would have if i had felt like it but i was so weak and hungry and tired that all i wanted to do was go to bed. he just sat up and watched baseball after that, never came in there to see if i needed anything or was ok. No and he stayed up until 12:30 pm. I also found an email that he sent an woman on a chat room. I still have it but he does not know i have it. What should i do? Did i deserve this in any way? I could have died before he got home and there was nothing that the kids could have done for me but watch me die.

When you put your infant in daycare... is baby on a schedule?

I'm thinking about watching a friend's infant, part time, at my house. I have an infant myself. Going from one to two is a little intimidating... Why is my Boston Fern Dying?

I have a fern that is being kept inside for the winter, it has been dropping leaves for a long time. The stems go black/brown and the tips die. The leaflets go yellow then brown and fall. I know what type of conditions they like but it is still dying. I have been misting it and I make sure its watered often. I also use grow lights sometimes on cloudier days. Am I Diabetic or Did I Just Eat Too Much Sugar?

My friend checked my blood sugar with an Acucheck and got a reading of 220. I know this is high but I'm wondering if it could be a result of what I ate today. Throughout the day I had chocolate doughnuts, M&Ms, a pepsi, tea with sugar, a bologna and cheese sandwhich,and goldfish crackers. When my friend tested my blood sugar I had literally just finished swallowing my dinner of a burger and potato salad. This diet was completely made up of sugar and carbs...horrendous, I know. Could this account for the high reading? She also didn't swab my finger with an alcohol pad before pricking my finger which makes me suspect her method could also be a little suspect. At any rate...should I be concerned? No matter the answers I recieve I'm going to get an actual test done to put any lingering worries to rest...I really just wanted some opinions.

In Texas can I get my daughters car out of impound while she is in jail?

My daughter was pulled over for speeding 300 miles from home and arrested due to a bad check warrant back here in a neighboring county, of course the vehicle I bought for her was impounded. Needless to say I am sure the registration has expired as well. She cannot bond out of jail due to extradition back to the county of the warrant, I wont pay her fines and she will have to remain in custody until it's paid which will probably be awhile. Meanwhile the $3000 car I bought her 8 months ago sits 300 miles away at the impound facility racking up fee's which is understandable. There are no liens as I paid cash for it and it was registered in her name at the time. I am willing to pay the fee's and drive all the way to get it and haul it back home and sell it versus loosing the $3000 investment I made that she has now lost due to her irresponsibility and selfishness. Can anyone advise me if and how I can get the car back? Can I have her sign a waiver of some sort or power of attorney etc. I am not at all familiar with towing or vehicle impounds are handled and have been told by a friend that they think that only the legal owner (ie: registered owner/leinholder), can do this. Is this really the case? There has got to be some way I can get it back with her consent or signature while she is incarcerated! I have searched for hours and hours and even read the transportation codes and I just cant find an answer. Can someone Please help!

Bed Bugs, what now? (please help)?

I have had pretty bad allergic reactions to bedbugs in the past. If i get bit by one the bite swells to a hard mound over 8 cm (3 in). After examining the bite marks, I say it was two different bugs that got me. I washed everything, and have done my best to find tell tale signs of bedbugs with no luck. What do I do now? 7 mth old and sippy cup..?

I bought my 7 mth old a sippy cup because like always WIC wants to have it there way but in a certain kind of way I agree with them. They told me not to put juices into a bottle that way they don't ociate good tastes with the bottle. They told me to start off with a sippy cup and some juice. I have had 2 c-sections. My 1st child is 8 and my second is 2. I noticed I all of a sudden had bad reflux/Gerd/heartburn shortly after having my 1st c-section. It is worse now after my 2nd. White spots on upper arms?? keratosis pilaris??

I have these blotchy white spots on both of my upper arms. The spots are drier than the rest of my arms and look bumpy, but aren't. I researched it and came up with a disease called keratosis pilaris, but it pretty much had nothing that you could do for it. It suggested rubbing certain lotions on it, but I've tried that and it hasn't seemed to help. The only thing that really helps is if I get some sun, then it reduces their appearance. But I won't be able to get sun all the time, and I am so self-conscious about them, I feel like I can't even wear sleeveless shirts. Any ideas of what I can do to in order to make them go away or at least to reduce their appearance without just getting a tan?

It scares me to think about this and to see how small we really are in this universe. Keep in mind that a U/S is just an estimate of the due date. They can vary greatly. My first two children were born right about their due date based on my last period, but the U/S had moved the due date up both times by 2 weeks. The only thing you can really do at this point is wait and when the baby is born, if you are still concerned, do a genetic test. You can buy them OTC now at some pharmacies and you just send off samples from the child and yourself. She wouldn't even have to know if you so wished.

What goes in must come out! Sounds like you need to cut back on her liquid intake. At age 2, she no longer needs 16 ounces of milk per day, so that should help. And, she shouldn't have more than four ounces of juice anyway. Water and milk are fine, but limit it to meal/snack times, or when she tells you she is thirsty. If she is not drinking a lot, but still urinating excessively (what you describe is excessive, no matter her size) it could be a sign of a medical problem. My guess though is the sippy cup has become a menace.

The Transit being the trolley system only travels a certain distance from south to the border to Downtown and East County. I guess the North County would not like such a trolley transit system in their neighborhood because it would cause riff raff.
